Out of Bounds (Rule 18.2) is defined by;
- Beyond all boundary hedges and fences
- On or beyond any line of white stakes defining the course boundary
- The memorial garden area at the back of the 14th
- 18th Hole - A ball on or beyond the road to the right of the 18th hole and then on or beyond the track in front of the farm house. The edge of the OOB is defined by the kerb side edge of the track. The white stakes on the edge of this track indicate and do not define the OOB. They are deemed to be Immoveable Obstructions. Then, on or beyond the line of white stakes to the right of the 18th green and along the right hand edge of the pathway to the clubhouse area.-
Penalty Areas (Rule 17)
These are marked with red stakes.
The stakes indicate the Penalty area they do not define the edge which is defined by the break of the ground into the ditch/pond.
Non water penalty area-Where an area which does not contain water has been marked as a Penalty Area the edge of the Penalty Area is defined by the course side edge of the red stakes.
Dropping Zones...4th and 14th holes - If a ball lies in any of the penalty areas on the 4th or 14th holes the player has these relief options each for one penalty stroke;

- Take relief under Rule 17.1 or
- As an extra option, drop the original ball or another ball in the dropping zone, situated to the left of the putting green (4th) or the left side front of the pond (14th). The dropping zone is a relief area under rule 14.3
Abnormal Course Conditions (Rule 16)
Immovable Obstructions include
-
- all paths, roads, and bridle paths, even if not artificially surfaced.
- Unhealed Drainage Channels
- Cracks on the course in the General area (No relief for stance alone)
- Ground under Repair is marked with either blue or white lines.
- When playing the 10th hole the mounds of soil on the right of the hole, adjacent to the penalty area, leading up to the green are placed for removal and free relief may be taken. The area is not marked but relief may be taken under Rule 16.1.
- When playing the 4th hole, if your ball lands on the bridge, in addition to taking relief under 16.1 you may also take a free drop from the Drop Zone situated behind the bridge.
NO PLAY ZONES - A player MUST take relief from these areas under rule 16-1f.
PLAYERS MUST NOT ENTER THESE AREAS.
Protection of young staked trees
All young trees identified by stakes and /or wrapping
Penalty areas on holes 1, 4 and 18. Rule 17.1e – NO PLAY ZONE
A player’s ball entering these Penalty Areas MUST proceed under Rule 17.1 with one penalty stroke.
No Play Zone Fencing on holes 1. 4. And 18. Rule 16.1
A player’s ball that is not in the Penalty Area but their ball, stance or swing has interference from the fence protecting the NPZ has the option of taking free relief under rule 16.1 or as an additional option proceed to the nearest drop zone. On the 4th, the nearest drop zone is the fairway drop zone for balls landing to the right of the bridge with the main drop zone on left for balls landing to the left of the bridge.
Penalty for breach of local rule: Strokeplay …General Penalty- Matchplay…Loss of Hole

Mobile Phones: These are allowed on the course but only for measuring distance and must remain on silent.
Distance Measuring Devices: You may use a device to measure distance as long as it only has the capability to measure distances.
Etiquette: Your place on the course is immediately behind the group in front, not just in front of the group behind. Trolleys and buggies should not be taken across the white lines in front of greens, not taken between a greenside bunker and a green. Replace divots, repair pitch marks and rake bunkers.
